My name is Elena and I’m a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Baltimore, Maryland. I have a background in photography and earned my BA in Visual Arts and Art History from Loyola University Maryland. My photographic work focuses on the interaction of natural light with manmade architectural elements. 

I took up embroidery as a hobby during grad school, and what started as a hobby has become a passion. My work in this medium continues to evolve as I look to inspiration from geometric shapes, color, organic elements, art history and more to create unique, one-of-a-kind pieces.
